Doors open at 5pm. Show Starts at 6pm. Tickets $12 online. $15 at door. $10 for members

**April 24 – Marina Crouse** Powerhouse singer Marina Crouse is one of the most notable talents on the San Francisco/Bay Area music scene. Her early classical training is reflected in her powerful and versatile vocal style that creates an emotional authenticity that consistently cuts deep. Her music straddles soul, blues, funk and, New Orleans R&B, always with a nod to her Chicana heritage.
**May 1 – Classic Pro Jam** Regular Pro Jam hosts The Blues Defenders treat audiences to a memorable evening of blues and swing dancing at The California. The Blues Defenders musicians are Donny Mederos, Jeff Piche, Ian Lawson, Bruce Gordon and Nick Otis.
**May 8 – Alabama Mike** Alabama Mike has become the voice of the West Coast Blues. Some of his latest collaborations are with the Arizona-based blues harmonica ace, Bob Corritore, on  his 2019 “Do The Hip Shake Baby”(SWMAF / VizzTone), on which Alabama lends his vocal prowess on four tracks. He has also worked with Kim Wilson and many other highly regarded California-based musicians on his 2019 release Hip You To My Blues, on Jon Atkinson’s Big Tone Records. Alabama Mike also tours with his own band called, The Mighty Revelators.
**May 15 – Mz. Dee** Mz. Dee is a powerful background vocalist for many artists worldwide, but she also performs in the Bay Area with her own band The VIPs. Within the last 15 years she has played & recorded with many major artists, including Johnny Otis, Garth Webber, the Steve Gannon Band, Chris Cain, John Firmin & the Johnny Nocturne Band, Anthony Paule, Ira Walker and Patrick Ford.
**May 22 – Alvon Johnson** A recipient of the Music Icon Award, Alvon Johnson is one of the most versatile musicians, singers and entertainers on the music scene today.  He travels the world singing and swinging Jazz standards with Big Bands, and songs he sang while working with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group, The Coasters.  When he travels to Russia he is referred to as the “King of the Blues” and the “Ambassador of the Blues”. His love and respect for the American art form is shared by large and enthusiastic audiences the world over.
**May 29 – John Allair** John Allair’s musical career began at the vanguard of early Rock & Roll and Rhythm & Blues in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1950s – eventually leading him to tour the world as a long-time member of Van Morrison’s band.  He has recorded or crossed paths with such greats as John Lee Hooker, Huey Lewis, Elvin Bishop, Maria Muldaur, Tom Waits, B.B. King, Boz Scaggs & Buddy Guy, He sat in with Fats Domino’s band at the old Fillmore Auditorium in 1958, and with Van Morrison opened for the Rolling Stones in 2006. He recently finished his latest tour and recordings with Van.
