Ham for the Holidays at Main Stage West

‘Ham for the Holidays’

It is Christmas Eve 1939 in Hamlin, Georgia and the local radio station, WHAM, has a special performance planned featuring Orson Welles. When a freak blizzard hits the town, neither Welles or the evening’s script arrive, leaving the small town cast to improvise their way through hijinks and shenanigans. What unfolds is a heartwarming homage to 1930’s screwball comedies – or, what would happen if War of the Worlds had a baby with Gone with the Wind after they saw The Wizard of Oz on their third date.
