Pinky, a live streamed original play from Sonoma Arts Live

Sonoma Arts Live is excited to share a streamed version of an original play by celebrated local playwright David Templeton (Dancing with Anubis, Polar Bears), directed by SAL audience favorite Larry Williams (Higgins in My Fair Lady, Director of Enchanted April and A Christmas Story: The Musical).
“Pinky is our Valentine’s gift to the audience we miss so much,” says Executive Artistic Director Jaime Love, “a story of young love that is sure to soften your heart and perhaps remind you of the crazy things you did for love.”
According to Playwright Templeton, “Every love story has two sides.” When Pinky, a sweetly romantic high-schooler with a thing for classic fairy tales, meets nerdy teenager David, he is instantly smitten. As for Pinky? She thinks David is … nice. After joining his eccentric circle of oddball, Dungeons-and-Dragons-playing friends, Pinky reluctantly reveals her life-long quest to find P.C. (aka Prince Charming). Determined to be the one who sweeps Pinky off her feet first, David launches an outrageous scheme to prove he’s the real P.C., a plan involving costumes, treasure hunts, sword fights, monsters and a buried treasure hidden in a shopping mall food court.
Pinky stars two well-known Sonoma County actors, husband-and-wife team Julianne and Mark Bradbury. They have been active in the North Bay in various Zoom theater projects since last spring. (Their bios are online at sonomaartslive.org.)
