The Steel Guitar Extravaganza!
Where: Hopmonk Sebastopol as part of the Peacetown Music Series
When: Wednesday August 31st, 6 – 8:30 pm
featuring Dave Zirbel, Sean Allen, Myles Boisen, Jill Rogers, Tim Rowe, Candy Girard, and the legendary Bobby Black!
This will be a program dedicated to this uniquely American instrument celebrated in classic country, Americana, western swing, Hawaiian, and some forms of black spiritual music in the south (Sacred Steel).
The steel guitarists will be backed by a stellar band of fiddle, drum, bass and vocalists. There will be a Q & A with the audience, in addition to the artists demonstrating various expressions of there instrument.
