“The Tempest,” is one of Shakespeare’s last plays and reflects all that is best about his skills as a playwright. This is a comedy and a romance that takes place on an unidentified island after the King’s ship crashes there. This play has it all: a shipwreck, magic, unknown creatures, spectacle, music and the usual host of characters that both entertain and inform. This play has something for everyone!
