CHANGE IN VENUE FOR 2021-22 SEASON
Due to COVID restrictions, Newman Auditorium will not be available for concerts for this entire academic year (2021-22). Fortunately, we have secured the Glaser Center in downtown Santa Rosa for this concert season.
With more than 350 seats in its performing space, the Glaser Center will allow us to create more social distancing as we return to public performances. Free parking is also available for all concerts in the 7th Street parking garage.
We are thrilled with the artists in this season’s series. Some old friends and some new will grace our stage. The programs they have crafted will include classics from Brahms, Haydn, Mendelssohn and Beethoven, work composed during the pandemic, and the Five Negro Melodies for Piano Trio by late 19th century composer Samuel Coleridge Taylor, often called the African Mahler.
