Non-Profit World Vision Global 6k Run or Walk is a life-transforming fundraiser event by the Bridge Church in Santa Rosa along with other participants around the world to raise funds to install wells in impoverished communities around the world through World Vision. On May 19th, at 8am, we will meet at the Foothill Oak Estates Park on Foothill Drive past Valle Vista St, to run or walk at the Foothill Regional Park in Windsor. EVERY DAY, a child or a woman somewhere around the world walks 6 kilometers or 3.7 miles to get water that is often polluted and can cause illness and sometimes death. Through your tax $50 registration fee ($25 for 18 yrs or under), you will not only raise funds to help one child get clean water, but will also get a free t-shirt with a bib that has a photo of the child that you are helping. There will be a medal finisher for all participants and free refreshments after the event. This is NOT a timed competition event so invite your friends and family to walk or run with you in the park while transforming lives forever!
