Come along and explore some of Trione-Annadel SP trails with a Park Volunteer!

Meet our Volunteer Hike Leader to explore a “lollipop” loop from North Burma trailhead, up around Lake Ilsanjo and back. What you can observe: variety of forest ecosystems, fall migratory birds, wood rat lodge, lake habitat – maybe even a resident river otter in the lake!

This route will include approximately 250 foot elevation gain over about 5 miles of varied trails, beginning and ending at North Burma Trailhead along Channel Drive. The pace will be moderate. Appropriate for ages 13 and up. Wear hiking shoes, layers appropriate for weather, bring water. Trails are rocky and uneven: trekking poles are recommended.

No advance reservations needed. Dogs not allowed. Restrooms and water at the Visitor Center.

Directions: from Montgomery Drive, turn onto Channel Drive and follow the road in approximately ½ mile: pay day-use fee ($7 per car, $6 for seniors 62+) or display CA State Parks Pass. Continue on Channel Drive for 0.3 mile to North Burma Trailhead; park along the road off pavement.
