Petaluma Poetry Walk

Sun, September 15, 2019, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

Petaluma Poetry Walk is a day-long series of poetry readings (with some of the Bay Area’s best poets) that move to a new venue in downtown Petaluma with new poets each hour. The readings are free, though we pass the hat because we pay the poets. This year’s readings feature the 2019 Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Forrest Gander, award-winning SF State poet and fiction writer, Maxine Chernoff, Sonoma County poet laureate Maya Khosla, a celebration of “Fire and Rain,” an anthology about California climate change, a reading by East Bay poets who write in both Spanish and English and many of Bay Area’s talented poets & other wonders of the word. See our schedule at petalumapoetrywalk.org. Sponsored by Poets & Writers, Poetry Flash and the Sitting Room.
