Windsor Dia de Muertos

Dia de los Muertos Windsor
Sat, November 1, 2025, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Bring the family to Windsor’s Dia de Muertos celebration on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 4-8 p.m. on the Windsor Town Green. The joyful holiday originated in Latin America and celebrates ancestors, family and friends now among “Los Muertos” – The Dead. Windsor’s original, authentic celebration includes an opening ceremonial dance blessing by Pomo and Aztec dancers, a procession around the green to honor Los Muertos (everyone can join in, and walk to remember their own dear departed friends and family), children’s activities, Mariachi music, dance music, a Crafts Market featuring goods made by local Latino artisans, authentic Mexican American foods and drinks and desserts, and a Lowrider Car Show featuring hundreds of beautifully customized cars from across Sonoma County and the Bay Area. Music performances and children’s activities are free. Food, drink and artisan market goods are for sale. This year, you can take the SMART train to Dia de Muertos! Windsor’s SMART train station is a block from the town green. Check the SMART website for fares, and arrival and departure times.
