A magical journey with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, brought to life by our local community theatre production! Follow young Charlie Bucket as he unwraps a golden ticket to the most wondrous candy factory in the world, run by the mysterious and eccentric Willy Wonka. With dazzling sets, unforgettable characters, and toe-tapping musical numbers, this family-friendly production promises sweet surprises at every turn.

Two best friends, Proteus and Valentine, travel to Milan where they both fall in love with Silvia. Silvia loves Valentine, but Proteus pursues her despite having a girlfriend at home. How rude! Friendships are put to the test, a servant is dissed by his own dog, and, yes, a woman disguises herself as a man in true Shakespeare comedy fashion! Our production is set in 1950s Italy, featuring period music, fashion, and red-hot Italian passion!

The Tony® and Grammy® Award-winning, inspiring true story of King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. Along the way, she made more than beautiful music, she wrote the soundtrack to a generation, including “I Feel The Earth Move,” “One Fine Day,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “You’ve Got A Friend” and the title song.

Featherbaby is a rambunctious, foul-mouthed Amazon parrot whose life is upended when their human Angie, a crime-scene photographer with a dark sense of humor, begins a relationship with Mason, a part-time competitive jigsaw puzzler. Twists and turns abound as the uber-territorial Featherbaby launches a full-on war against Mason. But when something unexpected occurs, the two competitors for Angie’s affection find themselves in an altogether different kind of relationship, one that calls into focus questions about the meaning of bonding, friendship, competition, respect, and love.

Sept. 5-21: A Night with Janis Joplin by Sonoma Arts Live
Like a comet that burns far too brightly to last, Janis Joplin exploded onto the music scene in 1967 and quickly became the queen of rock & roll with her unmistakable voice, filled with raw emotion and coated in Southern Comfort.
This music revue is a musical journey celebrating Janis and her biggest musical influences—icons like Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Odetta, Nina Simone and Bessie Smith. All will appear on stage, with four backup singers bringing these icons to life.
