
The Jacobethan Theatre Workshop, in collaboration with the 6th Street Playhouse, is proud to announce its inaugural indoor Studio production of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
This production marks the first co-production between the two local organizations, bringing Shakespeare back to the 6th Street Playhouse for an unforgettable theatrical experience.
This modern staging emphasizes Shakespeare’s language with a stripped-down set and a focus on intimacy and clarity. Running approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes plus intermission, the production uses projections and multimedia design to craft an immersive experience.
Directed by Lukas Raphael and co-directed by Libby Oberlin. The company of actors are Sergio Diaz as Guildencrantz/Osric/Marcellus/Priest, Pilar Gonzales as Ophelia, Jamie Montellato as Laertes/Player King, David Noll as Polonius/Gravedigger, Lukas Raphael as Hamlet, Maddi Scarbrough as Horatio, Mary Samson as Gertrude, and Chris Schloemp as Claudius/Ghost.
Opens June 6th and runs through June 21st, 2025. At the Monroe Stage at 6th Street Playhouse. Wednesday, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays @ 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm Run Time: Two hours, 10 minutes plus intermission.
