Mitch Polzak performs Rockabilly, Honky Tonk, Surf, Bluegrass, Western Swing, and Cajun music stateside and abroad. Mitch performs with the religious fervor of Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash, and delivers a Honky Tonk ballad with the sincerity of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. Polzak will bring a room to a fevered pitch of joyous energy on the dance floor and then tell you a story in a song like two old friends sitting at a kitchen table at midnight.
The Bluebyrds will open the show with the Folk/rock that provided a good bit of the soundtrack of the lives of children of the 60’s and even their children. The Bluebyrds reprise the jangle and harmony of the icons, such as Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, Bob Dylan, The Lovin’ Spoonful, and The Beau Brummels, just to name a few. You know the songs well and it’s unlikely you’ll be able to resist singing along. “Come for the music, stay for the vibes!”
