The Cazadero Jazz Project features staff members of the Cazadero Music Camp in nearby Cazadero. Joe Mazzaferro (trumpet/piano), Eric Arellano (Tenor Sax), Jim Mazzaferro (Bass), Martin Diller (Drums) During the non Summer months, each is highly involved in the musical careers wheter it be with teaching music, performing, or studying in college. Three of the members attend Major Universities across the Country (University of Nevada Reno, University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, and University of Tennessee Knoxville) while the other is a highly recognized music educator and Cazadero’s Camp Director. The camp itself is celebrating there 50th Anniversary of educated young students in music in the Redwoods of the Russian River Area. For more information on the camp, visit www.cazadero.org.
