For the Yamato Drummers, every encounter with listeners is a precious experience, with a goal to send audiences home with a new vitality and passion for life. They perform in front thousands of people over the world, committed to preserving the art of Taiko, a musical instrument often called “the spirit of Japan.” In Chousensha (The Challengers), the drummers express emotions related to overcoming obstacles in their lives by challenging their own limits physically and rhythmically, breathing new life into traditional drumming like never before.
