Artwork inspired and influenced by other artists. Artists demonstrate and acknowledge the influence of another artist on the concept, design or presentation of the work.
Picasso is quoted as saying: “Good artists borrow, great artists steal.” While it is really not possible to “steal” an idea or concept in art, it is certainly acceptable to acknowledge the profound influence of an artist or teacher on the style and presentation of our own works of art.
