🎶 Bands on the Basin is back for 2025!
Petaluma’s only floating concert returns for its 5th year—bringing live music, river fun, and community spirit to the Turning Basin. Paddle in, rent a boat, or enjoy the show from a nearby patio. Free to attend, with donations supporting The Floathouse and its mission to keep the river accessible to all.
Boating: BYO boaters, launch from the public docks in the turning basin (Weller St. parking and ramp access.) Floathouse fleet renters, reserve early online for 90-minute or 2-hour outings. Note: The Floathouse opens for rentals at 9 am, as usual.
🎶 Musical lineup:Â
1-2:30 pm: Sparky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
3-4:30 pm: Soul Shake
5-7 pm: Forrest Day
SUGGESTED PARKING: C Street Parking Garage or Keller Street Parking Garage (114 Keller Street), or park on Weller Street or in the Weller Street gravel lot. DO NOT park in River Plaza on Washington Street UNLESS you are patronizing River Plaza businesses, such as TAPS and LUMA (both great places to watch the music!). Other ideas: Park a few blocks away from downtown, where there is free street parking. Bike to the event. Walk to the event. Come by SMART train! USE LumaGo, a free on-demand shuttle service!
