Join us for this special family day program, created specifically for families with children 12 and under. We will be doing several special activities that will teach children about our solar system and our nearest star, the sun! Advanced tickets are required. Attendance is limited and please note that tickets are non-refundable and cannot be used for future events. There must be at least one adult chaperone per family. Also, a daytime State Park parking fee is required.
It is advised to bring a hat, sunscreen, and water, as part of the program will be held outside. For those wishing to have lunch or a snack prior to the event, the group campground picnic area, located right next to the observatory, will be available prior to the start of the event!
