Acclaimed singer-songwriter John Fullbright will perform his original music on July 18, 2025, in the House of Happy Walls Museum at Jack London State Historic Park.   He will be playing   Charmian London’s Steinway grand piano as well as his guitar.

The two-hour concert begins at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are $75 and include the park entry fee.  To purchase tickets, visit https://jacklondonpark.com/events/piano-concert-featuring-john-fullbright-2025/.

John Fullbright got his start at the legendary Blue Door listening room in Oklahoma City. It was there that he recorded a live album and found his base, opening for many other writers including fellow Oklahomans Kevin Welch and Jimmy Webb. His 2012 studio debut, “From the Ground Up,” received a Grammy nomination for Americana Album of the Year, and later that year he won ASCAP’s Harold Adamson Award for lyric writing. In 2014, John released the critically acclaimed “Songs,” toured all over America and the UK, and has appeared on “Late Night with David Letterman.”

Describing his music, Thomas Conner of the Chicago Sun-Times said, “Fullbright synthesizes the best songcraft from his home state — [Jimmy] Webb, Leon Russell and, by default, Merle Haggard.… He’s got a tune called ‘Forgotten Flowers,’ a thoughtful country lament, that Tom Waits and Randy Newman could fight over.”
