Docents Brian Fingado, Bruce Schneider, and Joy Robinson will guide us as we move through oak woodlands and grass meadows on paths hugging Adobe creek. We will stop under a large oak to take in views and be guided in meditation by Bruce. This is a family friendly event.
We will start in the parking lot, travel to the first view point to the right of the parking lot on the south west perimeter fence. We will descend down into the homestead clearing following the path north east until it turns south west to our second viewpoint under the large valley oak.There we will rest with a guided meditation and travel back the way we came to the parking lot to conclude the hike.
The hiking terrain ranges from broad, gentle meadows to steep challenging hillsides with a narrow path. The hike will be 2 1/2 miles with 500 feet of elevation. The difficulty level is moderate and all ages have been known to successfully partake in this hiking trail.
