John Jorgenson Quintet at Raven Performing Arts Center

John Jorgenson Quintet
Sat, August 6, 2022, 8:00 pm

Renowned musician John Jorgenson is bringing his quintet to Healdsburg for one night only on August 6. One of the elite guitar players in the world, Jorgenson has recorded and/or toured with Elton John, Tommy Emmanuel, The Byrds, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris, Barbra Streisand, Luciano Pavarotti, Roy Orbison, Patty Loveless, Michael Nesmith, John Prine, and Bonnie Raitt, many others.

The John Jorgenson Quintet is known worldwide as the “U.S. ambassadors of gypsy jazz” —the string-driven swing created by Jean “Django” Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in 1930s Paris. Jorgenson won accolades for his portrayal of Reinhardt in the Hollywood feature film Head in the Clouds.
