What’s a Look Club? It’s everything that’s great about a book club—the whirl of ideas, discovering insights, and social connection—all around a shared experience and glass of wine, with none of the cramming. At SVMA’s Look Club we’ll select 2-3 works of art from our current exhibition, take a closer, active look at each one, and share our ideas.
This month we meet at the Museum to explore a few works in Sacred Landscapes: The Art of Ynez Johnston. This retrospective exhibition features a luminous body of paintings, sculpture, and prints from more than six decades.
