Like their predecessors, Johnny Cash and June Carter, Danny Evans and Essence Goldman of Johnny & June Forever share an undeniable chemistry and musicality on stage, performing vocal harmonies reminiscent of the iconic Carter-Cash duo. In addition to their original music, they pay tribute to their heroes with a reverent and spirited Johnny & June revue. Danny Evans is widely recognized as a premier guitarist, an unparalleled singer/songwriter and producer. Essence recently received acclaim for her work with Bernie and the Believers through NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series and BBC and has released six albums.
