Mictlán, a celebration of Día de Muertos – 11am & 6pm

Mictlán, a celebration of Día de Muertos blending Pre-Hispanic and Catholic traditions with stylized artistic interpretations. Follow the journey of Xail through the Aztec underworld, guided by a Xoloitzcuintli dog, as she revisits the most meaningful moments of her life as a dancer.

Featuring over 50 young dancers (TK–12) from our very own Quetzalén’s after-school programs across Sonoma and Napa counties, with live music by Herencia del Real Academy during and after the performance. Doors open one hour before each show for an exhibition and altar by Jesús Bravo, highlighting the indigenous origins of Día de Muertos.
