49th Penngrove Parade and BBQ – July 6, 2024

Flags will wave at the 49th annual Penngrove Parade on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. sharp on Main Street in Penngrove.
It’s “The Biggest Little Parade in Northern California”. This is as small-town America as you can get. You’ll see tractors, horses, floats, antique military Jeeps, bands, and bicycle teams. And, it’s blissfully under one hour!
Parade Grand Marshal will be Johnny DeBernardi.
After the parade, enjoy barbeque, kids’ games, and music by Train Wreck Junction in Penngrove Park, from 12:00-4:00 p.m. The menu offers old-fashioned pit beef, BBQ chicken, beef sandwiches, oysters, and hot dogs. Drinks and Lagunitas beer will keep you cool. You’ll want to visit the Penngrove 4-H dessert and cold soda booth. Purchase barbecue tickets at the door.
Event policies to know:
- Sorry, but dogs are not allowed in the park due to county health code regulations.
- No outside food, drink, or coolers are permitted.
- For the over-21 wristband, you must show a physical ID, not a digital one.
- Bring cash or an ATM is available. Credit cards are not advised.
This is the largest annual fundraiser hosted by the Penngrove Social Firemen, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Proceeds support maintenance and improvements to Penngrove Park and Clubhouse.
You can join the Parade with your float, group, horse, or jalopy. There’s no entry charge. Applications are at Penngrove Market, 10070 Main Street, Penngrove, or download it from www.penngrovesocialfiremen.org. Entries are due by 8 pm on July 2.
Note: The SMART train will travel through Penngrove at 45 miles per hour, so be aware and stay safe.
