This event is designed for women to deepen their connection with nature, themselves, and one another during this vibrant season. It’s an opportunity to pause and embrace the stillness and beauty of the season. As part of the park’s seasonal wellness series, this summer-themed gathering invites participants to soak in the warmth, light, and growth that defines summer. Explore sun-dappled trails through redwoods and open landscapes, with thoughtful pauses for reflection, intention-setting, and shared experience.
Joyce Mikal-Flynn, professor at Sacramento State University and author of “Anatomy of a Survivor,” will help guide a discussion of wellness, resilience, and the healing power of time spent in nature.
