Dearest Farmers Market Community. We have never had to cancel a market before. Rain or shine has always been our motto. Our farmers and community members always come first. That said, with the safety of everyone in mind, we have decided to cancel this Sunday’s Farmer Market.
The upcoming storm promises to deliver 2-6 inches of rain and high winds with the heaviest rain fall between 9a-2p on Sunday.. our usual market hours. We typically do not make these decisions until the last minute but, this storm has many concerned. We needed to let farmers know before they started harvesting for the weekend and also to let our customers know so that you can plan to shop a Saturday Farmers Market instead.
We look forward to seeing everyone’s bright shiny faces and sunny weather next Sunday, October 31st for a special Halloween Farmers Market with special guests Redwood Highway Ramblers!!
The Sebastopol Farmers’ Market runs year round on Sunday mornings, creating a popular Sunday downtown destination for locals and visitors alike. Vendors offer up a wide range of goods, from seasonal produce and fruit to fish, baked goods, spices, cheeses, honey, eggs, jams & preserves, and prepared foods. Non-foods include skincare, nursery plants, textiles and artisan products such as candles, jewelry, and more.
