SoCo Savoy Swing Dancing DJ'd Music

The inaugural SoCo Savoy (aka Sonoma County Savoy Social Club) begins Thursday, March 21, 2024!!

Jasmine Worrell Dance is thrilled to announce a brand new program, here in Petaluma for the entire swing dance community. Spearheaded by her dedicated students, a team of die-hard lindy and swing dancers who want to help grow and strengthen the SoCo dance community (Bonnie, Cristina, Dan, Erin, Frances, Jasmine, Joy L., Joy R., Laurina, Lisa, Liz, Mike S., Robin, and Suzanne), we have launched a regular social after beginning dance lessons, on Thursdays, called SoCo Savoy Social Club.  Music from 8:10 pm to a little after 9:30 pm (we’d love for it to go longer, but the dance hall and City of Petaluma requires we start winding down and close up by 10 pm on the dot… besides… we believe that any consistent dancing is good dancing, even if it’s only for an hour and a half!!!)

Please note the dates as we ramp-up: Thursdays March 21 and 28 then April 4, 11 and 25, 2024.  Once May 2024 hits, we will have social dancing every 1st and 3rd Thursday, in addition to Jasmine’s regular live music nights — every single month. This is going to be a hoppin’ and a sizzlin’!!!

Please come and practice and create community! Absolutely everyone is welcome – all ages, dancers at every level, those who are curious and interested in learning swing, students and non-students of Jasmine, and  those who just want to watch dancers and feel the joyful vibe that dancing provides!!!
