“A Melodious Affair” is a new series where local singers and rappers collaborate with a live band to create a one-of-a-kind intimate performance. Our inaugural event will be on November 25th at The Lost Church Santa Rosa and will feature local band Sonomacana backing up Audio Angel, KingLung, Simoné Mosely and Mystie Moon. Sonomacana will open the show with a set as well.
After 25 years of rocking in the Bay with live bands & DJs to now calling Petaluma her home – Vocalist, Audio Angel is bringing her fiery stage presence and demanding passion for musical diversity to the North Bay with a vengeance.
Fresh from rocking live shows w/ members of The Crux, her folk duo Quiet Time – all while keeping her love for Drum & Bass a constant – with shows in SF + Seattle, she’s thrilled to bring her joy for Hip Hop – Jazz – Soul … and more to The Lost Church SR for this vanguard event.
Some may call KingLung a rapper, but others would argue to say he’s more of a revolutionary poet.
His music leans towards underground hip-hop, but sways into poetic lyricism with a conscious and spiritual undertone, like J Cole mixed with a little 2 PAC. King Lung creates a very signature musical art that can stand out and be differentiated among the crowd.
Mystie Moon presents music that is like a jazzy serenade. With rich vocals, and a talent for articulate writing, she is sure to appease the ear. She has been compared to well loved classic artists such as Sade, and even more mainstream artists like Mariah Carey. However, I would say she really sets her own tone and embodies a smooth honey like sound, and a unique style that’s incomparable.
Sonomacana, Sonoma Counties latest Raggae inspired Group is heading to the Lost Church November 25th 2022! Recently formed at Scratch Track Studio, the residential living room recording and rehearsal space of Santa Rosa Native, Singer Songwriter, Original Music Producer and Band Leader, Kyle Martin.

Veejay, Victor Jr., is a drummer and a son of the original drummer of, Midnight Sun Massive, a local raggae staple of Sonoma County for the last 25 years.
