This family-friendly event is open to the public and includes:
Animal meet and greet
Meet the cows, goats, and sheep who call Shone Farm their home. (Update: We anticipate that baby lambs just born at the farm will join us for the event.)
U-pick pumpkins, apples, and sweet potatoes
Experience the bounty of the season by picking your pumpkin from our multi-acre patch. Pumpkins range from small, cute, and petite to those humongous in size, weighing nearly 100 lbs. Come pick apples from our orchard and sweet potatoes from the field.
Vegetable and flower farm stand
Shop freshly picked organic produce & flower bouquets grown by SRJC students and farm interns from the Sustainable Agriculture program.
Rotten fruit slingshot
For the young and young-at-heart, enjoy shooting rotten fruit with our giant slingshot.
Hay RidesHay Rides
Enjoy Shone Farm and the Fall season by taking a hay ride around our garden and orchards.
Tractor Show and Tell and farm equipment displays
It takes a lot of machines to grow a bountiful harvest and maintain the farm. See and learn about the tractors and machinery vital to the agricultural industry.
