Alison Harris and Deborah Crooks are fantastic, celebrated songwriters each with an outstanding catalog of songs. Both are Northern California natives.
“Alison Harris sounds like a country songbird perched on Bonnie Raitt’s shoulder.,” wrote San Francisco Magazine. “She sings about loneliness and longing with a grace and beauty that almost makes those things desirable.”
Deborah Crooks’ “The Department of the West” (2019) was described by The Rocking Magpie as “…what Americana music is all about for me; imaginative, cinematic, informative and last but not least … entertaining.
