Join us to take a look at a few creative and effective local examples of community-scale carbon sequestration projects! We’ll hear about a program from Mycelium Youth Network that tracks sequestration in school gardens, a program from StopWaste.org that connects city residents to urban farms working on sequestration, and a program from Zero Foodprint that works to reduce food waste and bring restaurants into carbon sequestration solutions. We’ll be considering ways to replicate these programs here in Sonoma County, so bring your thinking caps and get ready to brainstorm! There will also be a Q+A session, so you can ask our amazing presenters all your burning questions.
