Well, if you know me you know I strive to bring the best performers in the world to the Hopmonk Stage on Wednesdays. And this Wednesday is no exception! I have been huge fans of Eric & Suzy’s for as long as I can remember. Both are multi-instrumentalists who thoroughly understand, appreciate, authentically play and extend the folk traditions they draw from. When Suzy sings a blues you believe her! When Eric flat picks a fiddle tune, like Doc Watson would, on his old guitar you
swoon, he makes it look so easy! Whether they’re singin’ or pickin’ you know from the first note these folks are the real deal and masters off any genre of American music they bring. So, do ya self a favor: don’t miss ‘em!
FREE outdoor show from 5:30-8 pm in the Beer Garden at the Hopmonk Tavern in Sebastopol – enjoy beer and snacks (or dinner!) while we play up a storm – Cajun, blues, old time music, Paul Siebel songs (Suzy’s gearing up to record a whole album of these!) and more.
